With a heavy heart it is time for me to part ways with the S2, in many ways it’s a fantastic financial decision but lets face it none of us here are because of solid financial decision.
The car hardly moves nowadays - saying that ive only ever done 7000 miles in it and I have recently been made redundant so it for sale and I want £6200. I really don’t mind waiting for the right buyer, the longer it takes to sell the longer I get to keep her.
1996 N Reg Audi S2
137000 Miles
Kingfisher Blue
5 former keepers making me number six
In my ownership ive changed the following
A complete Victor Reinz headset.
Timing belt set, including new crank sprocket, crank seal and crank bolt.
A full set of F5DPOR plugs.
Water pump.
Turbo water line pipe replaced for a 4 ply silicone item.
Brake master cylinder.
Genuine Audi replacement nuts, bolts and seals where possible.
Ive had the head pressure tested and the results came back totally fine with the head only needing a polish on the mating side.
Modifications
Homefried ECU.
Porsche 911 964 callipers and A8 323mm discs.
3” Downpipe.
Decat and silencer removed.
Milltek back box.
The interior leather has discoloured and could do with a DIY furniture clinic refurb.
The wheels are evidently ghastly - though very light and the car drives great on them.
Drivers side door has come from another kingfisher blue due to MINOR (non impact) damage.
Driver’s side lower left grill is currently missing – I am hoping this will resurface this weekend.
After speaking to a member on here about the car I took a lot of pictures underneath to show the current condition.
More pictures to follow!
Thanks!
