  • Shipping to USA - bad problems!!!

Ok, so has anyone shipped goods to USA lately? I have now two priority packages confirmed that they havn't arrived yet(3 and 4 weeks gone), and two more packages that is in same tracking state. They have been send with Finlands official post, and they should ship with USPS in the US. Tracking stops when the packages leave Helsinki airport, nothing after that.

Has all planes drop in the ocean or what is going on in the US?

Has called our post, but they couldn't say anything yet. Called yesturday, and need to call again today... Need to suspend all shippings to USA or use DHL in the future, cost is more than double with DHL though, 5kg 125 euros vs 54 euros.

Of course I can't be sure, but tracking says:

The item is on its way to the destination country.
      HKI VANTAA, ULKOMAANTERMINAALI

      Nothing after this.

USPS tracking says: We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.

Hmm, maybe the packages still are in Vantaa therminal..? Or somewhere in europa?

Got a person on the phone today who told me that there have been a couple of flight freights missing cause of big snow storm in US east coast last month. Flight who has left finnish soil on 7th and 27th march 2017 has been asked a lot, and seems they are somewhere in the US, where the planes has landed and been unloaded..?

So I have now 3 packages missing.

Yes my packages from blux arrived fast. They did get stopped in customs and one was inspected; but still quite fast.

The truth is, the USPS is bad ad showing updates. I have had a few packages come internationally that were 'hung' for quite a while with no status updates untill they were basically delivered.

March 2nd these were shipped, no scans from the 8th until the 24th. It isn't uncommon.

Waiting on parts is nerve racking. Waiting now for tail lights from Europe. Have to put faith in the idea that it will all work out in the end. I get excited whenever the USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL delivery trucks roll in to work.

I had major issues with manifold GB to the US. But that was DHL that had issues because of strike they send the packed via container ship instead of a flight. However when the manifolds arrived in the US it was delivered with in a week, but the USPS tracking did not show them as delivered, it was confirmed by the members on here.

I have heard that there are two types of forms for customs now, tracked and untracked. But even this tracking with usps is hit or miss.

Luckily I have been told I can use excess space in the containers my company are using so I don't need to deal with them when shipping to the states now

When I had my B3 headlights shipped from Germany, they took nearly 2 months to arrive. The tracking also stopped when they left Germany.
