I haven't any experience with eastwoods. I've used por15 in the past and haven't found it bad. I've used flag rust converter first and then tidied up

I've used a lot of their powders for powdercoating, but never their rust treatments. I also know a lot of people who swear by their paints. I haven't had any problems with their stuff yet.

Try a chemical rust remover like Built Hamber....

I have used POR-15 as well and found it fairly good, the worst thing I find is storing it, don't know whether it is best kept cold of warm but it gets none of these and all of these in my Garage and is usually a solid block (still looking for a use for the solid blocks, shape of a tin, sure there must be something ) next time I open the can. Tins are also weak, thin metal so they stick shut and levering them open damages them which doesn't help. I like the look of the Bithamber stuff, may give that a try.

The rust treatment stuff does look good. I found that with por15 and seem to work on once I open a can it has to be used as it will be solid next time I open the tin

Totally agree... It's also got the consistency of water, which is a bit disconcerting and stains skin like a semi-permanent tattoo.... But it sets like concrete and is ferrociously effective...

I painted an old pony horse-shoe with it about 10 years ago, it has been outside every day since, and it's not changed since painting...
