  • What channel is the WRC and Rallycross on?

Okay so I can go to Sky F1 for my Formula One fix but I'm always at a loss if ever I want to catch up on anything rally related. Does anyone know where other motorsports are shown? Please don't tell me they're on BT Sport!

Ah, found it!! Channel 447: Motorsport TV, thanks!! (Shame there's no HD version ) They really ought to advertise and market the events better if they want to garner any more interest in these sports!!

F1's gotten better recently with show and tells where they delve into the technicalities of the cars like the hugely complicated aero features. Saw a cool piece the other day where they explained how they get the engine oil to go through channels in the pistons out through the rings and factor in how they can use it to improve the combustion but they have to be careful cos the authorities cottoned onto it and they're only allowed to use so much oil now. Hang on I'll see if the articles have been put up on YouTube...

Well what do you know it's here:

Here's how mental Ferrari go with their front wings:

Well that's the eternal argument isn't it, whether it should be man or machine winning the races, ideally it should be more man and they could certainly do more to even up the field but I do enjoying keeping up with all the technical innovations and there is some superb racing going on. Max Verstappen is great to watch, his race in Brazil in the wet last year was sensational. Ricciardo's very good, Hamilton's a bit of a twit but he's undeniably and consistently able to produce results even if he does have the best car, although it seems Ferrari and Seb Vettel are now vying for the top spot. And there's lot's of maneuvering around lower down the pack. F1's still alright by me!

They should go back to 1960's rules, build whatever you want, but limited mechanical grip and no down force. That will separate the men from the boys

I'd watch that!! I think that's the key, they need to limit budgets and open up the rules to encourage innovation and have the smaller teams go up against the bigger teams, have turbo vs non-turbo, V6 vs V10... make it much more interesting.
