My 1990 Audi Coupe has some tasteful modifications done such as RS2 Ellipsoids, S2 Front/Rear bumpers, B5 S4 Avus wheels, and B5 5 lug swap and brakes. I'm getting my suspension pieced together with a DIY kit and all is looking well. My front bumper, however, is sagging in the middle and driving me bonkers. It appears there is a small plastic tab where one could mount a bracket to the lower radiator support to stiffen and hold the bumper up, much like what is available on B4 Audis. What can I do to remedy this annoyance? Below shows the gap I'm hoping to eliminate:

    Here's the part I'm after:

**I sourced this and have ordered it to fix the gap. False alarm

Moreover, here is the beast as it is now...

Where can I source some all-weather rubber floor mats? I liked the Audi Sport versions I had in my B6 S4 but they are obviously not available for the classics. What do most use on this side?

            Very good-looking car.
I ordered Petex Z061088 rubber floor mats a couple years ago, but they seem to be NLA already.

Thank you for the kind words. I'd like to throw a 07K into it but not quite yet as there needs to be more parts and parties fabricating the needed provisions to make a transverse engine sit longitudinally. Nonetheless, the 7A is still pulling hard and I won't break the motor apart until it's requiring a rebuild.

The weather has been nice as of late. We've had below 0*F for a couple weeks but it has now returned to the beautiful high 30*F temps. The car is squirelly in the snow but that's due to the OE Continental Tires the wheels are wrapped in.

That's good to know on the floor mats. I will continue the seach and perhaps I'll have to bite-the-bullet and purchase some carpeted versions.

Kevin and I were roommates for a year and I kept asking him to sell the coupe to me...After a year of being on the fence, we finally agreed and now I have a beautiful car. His RS2 Saloon is one amazing car!

So I'm trying ot install some 993/RS2 mirrors on my Coupe...yes I realize they are different car models, but I ordered the wrong mirror seals and cannot find the correct ones anywhere...Does anyone have part numbers: VAG 8A0 857 544, & 8A0 857 543 available or know of a source to find them? I am doing this "project/mirror installation" as a gift for my wife as this is truly her car...I just try to make it better and more fun...nonetheless, it's her birthday next week and I'm hoping to have this "project" completed sooner than later...any help will be greatly appreciated in advance!
