  • Audi s2 1996 project

    Well hello guys !

My name is Filip and live in Finland southern part.
    Sorry for the bad english.
    i am here to learn English/about s2

    Background info on the car:

Imported from germany year 2000 to Sweden

Stood still 2000-2008 (when the guy who imported it build on it)

Imported from Sweden to Finland 2010 by my brother and he had a accident with the car spring 2015 and now 2016/02 i own it (I have only driven the Car 2-3 times and that was before the engine upgrades, so looking forward to getting it on the road again)

This is how the Car looked when my brother imported it from sweden, kinda Pokémon looking with that color/rieger Body kit so this will change

My brother rebuild 100% the engine in 2014 new engine have 1500-2000km before collision so dont have to worry about that

    ABY
    7A CAMS
    GTX3582 billett

    Wiseco pistons

    Eagle H-profile connecting rods

    KMS MD35 brain

    Head have been ported

    Furans intake

    Sachs 707

    Sinter

The right side did get a little miss shaped after the accident
Intercooler, right side headlight, right front wing, trunk window has to be replaced
And the right rear wheel is not straight anymore so i have to figure out what all Things need to be replaced ( turned out the wishbone/guide joint did the trick)

    Pics will come

goals is to get the car on the road by 201X (very expensive to repaint) repainted and good to go Street and some Circuit driving

You got any original photos Filip and it's a shame a 4 year old car stood still for so long?? Mileage must be pretty low?

Been in contact with the swedish guy who imported the car from Germany and thats the guy who painted the car and put a ADU engine in it he said(and i have a somekind of receipt of an adu engine but i dont know). but now it's a ABY head atleast
          Diffrwnces on aby-->adu block /head ?

the car did have 2 owners total in sweden i think and the guy my brother bought it from he was kinda strange and i think that he still have some parts for the car that he said he would send but did not-

here is the car when the guy who my brother bought it from owned it

          http://www.garaget.org/?car=134708

but he did not build the car

no original pics it has been blue from factory ming Blue i belive

97XXXkm it is on the gauge

The guy who imported it to sweden sand blasted all the parts subframes , wishbones , Engine partsand and so on ,

He also painted the car in lambo orange abit to much Pokémon Color in my opinion

The subframes can move, only one of the bolts is fixed, the other 3 are floating captive nuts, so might be worth checking if the wishbone doesn't fix it.

              Good luck with the project.

Check to see if the rear balljoint has slipped/moved on the wishbone

                          about the cables
think the thick white and brown cable is from rear window defroster
red/blue maybe from trunk light? (probably + battery)
is that a black/green cable? maybe from number plate lights?
all the brown cables or ground
i'm not sure this is all correct

                            Hello

I dont think its from the defroster because those cables i know where are and they go to the window allready. And they are pretty Long those cables the ones that is cutted they have not been connected to anywhere so i guess they are not that important thanks for answer

                              Aloha people

was looking at new wheel bearing housing and found this

893505436B wheel bearing housing;right costs on Audi Tradition 225,49 EUR

893505436C wheel bearing housing; right costs on audi tradition 421,26 EUR

the only diffrent (when i searched on partbase.org) was that PN 436B WAS TO YEAR -1995
AND THE 436C was to year 1996 .... and my car is a -96

Can anyone tell me if it is a diffrent between theese housings or? 200€ diffrent and of course it's the right side i need...
