    Hi people.
    I registered a year or so ago and pretty sure I've never got around to saying hello
    So anyways hello. About 7 yrs ago I brought a 1993 16v coupe. Brought it for £250 no t&t needs tlc kinda thing. Always fancied one.
    I also own 2 vw scirocco's a mk1 ( under resto) and a mk2 I lightly restored 12 yrs ago. So I guess I'm a coupe kinda guy..

    Back to the beloved Audi. Can some point me in the correct description of the car is it b3 b4 3b 4b
    An 80 coupe or simply a s2 coupe ? Seem to struggle with buying stuff online for it , especially suspension.

    Great site and I'm sure there's going to be answer's found to any niggles i come across.

    B3. All 1990-96 coupes are B3.

      Yep, all Coupe's are B3 based though Audi gave the front end a cosmetic face lift in 1992 with a B4 bonnet, slam panel, lights etc.

      So your car is a B3 16 valve Coupe mechanically but with a B4 style front end.

      S2 Coupe's had the newer front end from their launch in late 1990, all be it with a different headlamp trim arrangement up until 1992/3.

      I don't think we ever got any four cylinder Coupe quattro's in the UK, in fact I'm pretty sure all CQ's worldwide were fitted with five cylinder or V6 engine's.

      And one more thing I forgot to add, watch out buying parts on eBay as some sellers list components as compatible when their clearly not.

          There it is. Just clocked up 190k. Starts first time every morning regardless of weather.
          Looking to lower it by a little / keeping it sensible to drive with out losing fillings.
          Also brought my Daughter home in it in 2010's heavy snow !

            Cool coupe. Would be better if the engine didn't have KE-Motronic injection. We're allergic to those in LV.
