  • C4 Front Poly bushes/ARB Blocks

Does anywhere do polybushes for the C4 chassis? About all I've found so far are some american rear trailing arm bushes that need modifying a touch.

The front suspension setup is very familar, on the old Polos a cheap mod is to fit delrin blocks which pull the anti roll bar forward a touch increasing castor, then a couple of clamps either side to stop lateral movement. Do they suffer from that as stock much? If the car isn't too low a couple of large washers and clamps could help tighten it up anyway.

    Just a thought.

I've seen some russian sites selling them not sure of the quality/safety of them.
Safety is my main concern with the front swaybar and control arm bushings.http://www.x5online.ru/cat_search?oe...del=100&detal=

Rehashing this!. Anyone know of any poly bushings for the front control arms and sway bar.
Also I custom made front and rest trap bushes for the rear control arms but does anyone know
of any place to get poly or factory bushes to complete the rear control arms and knuckles.

Sounds like it could be a plan, has anyone tried this ?

No worries, always good to read about UrS6 issues, and tweaks.

The price is 40 euro for set like on the pic above + shipping. You need two sets for the car (left and right wishbone). I can offer discount if there are more than 5+ sets ordered.

                    Avalible in hardens:
                    - 75 ShA street
                    - 85 ShA track
                    - 95 ShA race

What else do you need to know ?

Ok, thanks. Is there any downsides to use the 95 Sha on street, other than it's harsh? Does it wear faster?

The ride might get more bumpy. The car will be much more stiff.

Have these been run long term without the swaybar breaking? Looks like a good option though.

Albert saves the day again. Good stuff! The thing that ring bearer is saying is
AMD and 2bennett use to make delrin bushings for the front location/sway bar
and it was literally snapping the sway bar where it connect to the control arm.
Atleast that's what I've read from old posts online. That is the only thing that
concerns me as well. The bushing for the control arm to subframe there is nothing
to worry about. Albert I'm interested in a set of 95a for the front. Any chance you'll
be making any bushings for the rear control arm and knuckle. There's actually a lot
more locations in the rear that need replacement bushings.
