  • Audi ur quattro For Sale (1985)

i'll be taking my quattro to the classic audi stand at audis in the park on the 10th august and will have a for sale sign on it. pop along and say hello and i'll show you around it.

it's a 1985 car and has got approximately 132,000 miles on it. i've spent around £5500 since i bought it a few years ago with receipts for all the work. there's a folder full of receipts since 1986 - a fortune's worth as you can well imagine!

and yes, i'll even have the original audi ring decals fitted on the doors for those purists out there!!

    cheers,

    craig

Stunning looking car there craig. I bet it has a mint interior unlike that nasty S6 one. Is that you sitting in it with Suit on? The car sure does look a beauty.Hope it finds a good home! FIRE UP THE QUATTRO BOLLY!

no, that's not me, mark! i was asked to bring the quattro to this retiring DCI's leaving "do" and so it felt like a real ashes to ashes moment for all of us! the rest of the cops were around the quattro like a bad rash - a wonderful day to remember indeed! pricewise, i have yet to decide but approx £16000 and worth every penny.

Sad to see this going Craig, i would have this off of you but until this house is finished i cant spend any money on toys. In the flesh this is a seriously impressive car and i would certainly trust Craig after seeing all of his cars.

thanks martin. it's a lovely old beast but it's time to sell it on. it's burst my wallet several times now just like i was told it would! all the big bucks have been spent on it now and it's time that i went for something like this . . .

i'm totally hooked on the idea of a nice S6 - the old tub i've got is the most wonderful car to drive - nothing i have driven compares to it and i don't mind the captain ahab style roll on the bends one bit when i have this much power behind the old trawler!!
silent, smooth and fast . . i luvvit!!

Totally agree about the s6 mate. This car is WONDERFUL in every case! Reliability deserves a 12 out of 10! The only weak point is the consumption but with a nice tune and the stock turbo or other with more flow with the k24 spool will give you very good numbers on consumption. When my k24 will retire I definitely will go straight to the gtx28 and a good custom tune

                    salu2!

thanks for that!! i prefer driving the s6 over anything i have driven before - it's smooth, silent, as comfortable as your living room and shifts when you tap the loud pedal - what's not to like!!
