Nice motor, whats the thing in the middle of the boot(trunk)?
Its a NOS tank for the NOS Serpentine FMIC spray bar. During the latest big boost dyno runs the tuner from Apikol saw intake temps several degrees below ambient with the system active. I have a manual purge switch to use when the car is staging before a track run and another subsystem that activates when above 20 lbs of boost and more than 90% throttle.
The whole car mate, just awsome!! Turbo is huge - what figures does it boast??
Looks superb
Plus, have to ask, is that a standard steering wheel re trimmed? looks sweet
Thanks Motomad
Here's a graph of a full boost run done on E-85. This fuel has an octane rating of 105 and is plentiful in and around Denver Colorado where I live so I only run this fuel. I have a programmable EMS from 034. Its their IIc system. It has a switchable program that I use to go from the 34 lb track program to a little more conservative 28 lb street program. This is a link to Apikol's Facebook page with a video of the run on the graph. The horsepower and torque figures are at the wheels. The turbo is from ITS and is a ceramic ball bearing unit good for 825 at the crank. ITS is no longer but Comp Turbo is carrying on the ceramic BB design. 674hp/591tq at the wheels gets us pretty close to ITS's design limit on this turbo.
