  • perfect rim size to fit arches?

Im considering buying some azev wheels. Ofc 17" and 5x112.
    Prolly gonna ba 225/45-17

What would the best offset be to fit it all out to the arches of the fenders? But not more than just.

Police in denmark are not fans of wider wheel mountings. And neither am i.

    it is a audi s2 3b type 89q from 1991

    Thanks in advance

And they will not hit the suspension with 8.5 et32?
I recon the lower the ET dimension the deeper the rim right?

The lower the ET the more they stick out!

Ok. So the 8 wide and 32ET would have the deeper rally look on the rim?

Depends on the type of wheel.

Im thinking of getting the aezv rim that looks like the wheels they raced the audi ur quattro on back in the real rally days.

Post up what width and offset you can get and we'll suggest what's best.

This is the type of wheel.

And all of the sizes i presume.

Do you want bigger width at the rear for the look or not?

Ive heard from a reliable source that it would damage your differential to do such. So preferably evened size allround.

That's incorrect. Differe tyre diameters damage the differential

With 225/45R17 up front and 245/40R17 at the rear, you'll be fine.

                          Seek and ye shall find:-

                          http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...taggered+tyres

                          I'd say 8J ET35 front and either 8J ET35 + 10mm spacers rear or even 9.5J rear

                          Rear ET:-

                          8J ET35 + 10mm spacers = ET25 effectively

                          9.5J = 1.5"/2 wider per side = ~19mm

For the outer edge to be the same ET 19 + 25 ~45 but as there's some stretch, you could try ET40...

                            I run 18 x 8.5 ET35s with a 3mm shim up front and 12mm spacer at the rear with 245/35 rubber.

So effective ETs are 32 front, 23 rear.

BUT there's not a 32 option in the 17x8.5J option above
