well i think we all know that our 20+ year old cars arent exactly completely reliable, especially when people drive thousands of miles to come (literally, canadians come down, we have had east coast people in years past). The event isnt just about the rings on our cars, it is about the friendship. We wrench together at these events, we have banquet dinners and just a good time. The guy with the merc cosworth also has a v8 swapped b4 that wasnt ready for the trip...

Those are personal vehicles of sean, one of the guys who hosts the event. He also owns that helios blue ur with the 07k turbo'd engine. He organizes it all and that shop 'iconify' is his place, which is why his cars are parked there.

That is my car, and it was the fill up before leaving on a 6 hour drive. The stations pump had a malfunctioning auto stop on that pump! I was washing the windscreen when i heard the 'waterfall'
