Now that is a good question. You can buy LED wedge bulbs from ebay for about £1 each, i picked out half a dozen different types and tried them all. Try to find some with LED's on each side so they bounce more light off the reflector. The best you will get from a super bright white led is that slightly blue colour like 6000k HID's. Not a perfect match but a lot better than the dim looking originals. If you find a good one post a link..
P.s. Just took a pic for you, my HIDs are 5000k so a little whiter than the regular 6k. Sidelights bulbs i believe are these ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290944437130Attached FilesLast edited by mcandmar; 29 September 2016, 21:07.91CQ20v - Gone to a new home

Cool, thanks lads [emoji106]
How about bulb warnings? I get a warning anyway, I guess from the HIDs

No issues, as above i don't think the autocheck looks at the sidelight circuits. Interestingly it seems to understand my HID kit and doesn't give a warning, but every now and again the left light wont start up and it triggers the autocheck warning so it seems to know if the HID has properly started up or not.91CQ20v - Gone to a new home

Bump to this. Fitted my new 5000k HID kit this evening and the "white LED" sidelight lamps are too blue and look a bit chav to my taste. Can anyone suggest a good unit to try for a pure white LED?Panthero Coupé quattro 20vt

These are pretty good, not LED but they do look white not blue in use and get rid of that yellow tinge
