  • HELP!! Heathrow to Northampton tomorrow...

    Hi buddies

Do you have any clue about how can I go tomorrow from Heathrow airport to Northampton??

    I didn't buy the tickets yet,but I'd land there at 18:15 UK time ( 6:15pm)

Heathrow is a bit of a S*** to travel to somewhere other than London. For example, you would probably have to get the Heathrow Express (Train) to one of the train stations in London (probably Paddington would offer most routes to the rest of the country)

I think you can get National Express (Coaches/Buses) but from my experience, these can be an ******** and take too long.

What time do you need to be in Northampton? I live in Banbury and would offer to drive you there myself (about 40mins from Banbury) but it is the Masters at Augusta and I am a golf addict, so would rather not miss it. Even if I could be bothered, you would need to get from Heathrow to a central london station and then get on the tube (underground train) to Marylebone and from there go on the overground train to Banbury. Public transport in this country is a right faff, hence why most have cars.

    Good luck with it

For easy, it might even make sense to get a taxi. I got one a few years back from Marylebone to Banbury (missed the last train and girlfriend was whingeing like a bitch) and it cost about £150. Heathrow is further though and round the M25 (road to hell) Probably no change out of £200 I reckon but if you are only going one way, it might be an option.

uff forget it. it looks like a nightmare....

i wanted to go to Stansted airport because i could had a flight from 45 minutes far from my home instead of the 2 hours if i want to go to Heathrow... but Will told me that Stansted is 80 miles far but takes like 2,5hours to go because they are all s.hit roads

unfortunately Will cant come to pick me personally so i will have to go other weekend and see if he can come this time

You can fly from Bilbao to Birmingham for less than £100. Nice quiet airport and you could probably get a taxi from Birmingham to Northampton for around £50 or organise a lift from a member in Brum. A lot easier than mucking around with Heathrow and Central London trains.

If you want something cheaper you could try coach like national express or train up http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/servic...orrow/1900/arr

That is a good price for 2 people. You can fly from Bilbao to Birmingham direct with Lufthansa on 26th April but it will cost £225 for one person. You got a much better price but have the added hassle of dealing with London. The most important thing is you get your TME motor back and it will time for play. Enjoy.
