I managed to snap the outlet off mine when using full-lock as i have no front arch liners in.

Looking at replacements there seem to be 2 part numbers 4A0955651A and 4A0955651B - does anybody know the difference?

I've found both on ebay and they look identical -

4A0955651A was dropped on 28/02/1996 in favour of the 4A0955651B.

4A0955651B is now listed as the B3, B4, early B5, C4 and early A8 and A8q pump.

Good point, I just checked the availability of the 4A0955651A and 4A0955651B (with the 651A not used anymore) not their function, per se. This is now corrected:

Upon further investigation there are at least four pumps, if you are counting

1. 431955651 = ACOQ, B4 Avant and C4 100/A6 UrS4/S6 avant rear wiper pump

2. 4A0955651 = ACOQ, B4, and and C4 100/A6 UrS4/S6 windshield washer pump *AND* intensive fluid washer pump

3. 4A0955651B = ACOQ, B4, and and C4 100/A6 UrS4/S6 windshield washer pump but for vehicles with check package (formerly 4A0955651A)

4. 3B7955681 = widely-used *headlight* washer pump, including ACOQ, B4, and and C4 100/A6 UrS4/S6
