I'm using Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's on the S6 255/40 x 17 and love them. Can't fault them really, wet dry ride fuel economy etc. They're not even half worn and i've done 9k + on them.

Yep, you can't go wrong with them either.

Though if you want something really sporty Toyo R1R's are in another league again, however they're expensive and only come with about 5.5mm of tread.

I run Pilot Sport 2 on the S2 very good in all conditions.

Always used to run the Potenza RE050, also a very good tyre.

Tried Dunlop Sport Maxx RT, Dunlop Sport BlueResponse. Great tyres these are, however I did notice they wear down quicker than most.
Currently running Toyo Proxes CF2, been 6 months, wears down at a reasonable speed and are quite responsive at normal temperatures.

Have these on my UrS4 and can't complain. Good in all weather conditions. Don't do mad driving but some spirited driving occasionally and never felt they would let me down.

Hi Rikki, have you tried Camskill? It's an ok site to use,i find it easy, others say mytres is easier but i prefer the easy referencing available on the Camskill site. Just choose what type of tyres you want i.e. summer tyres, type in the size your after and then check out all the brands available. You can compare how they all perform in the dry,wet and fuel economy. You'll see the poor results that comes with some supposed top tyres in the wet and noise levels. At least it gives you an indication.

Tyre Traders used to be really good but obviously too good as they've now gone down the pan!

I've had some great deals from tyreleader.co.uk recently.

Funny you should say that.My wheel refurbishing man mentioned them to me 2 weeks back,so i checked them out. Camskill still came in 40p cheaper per tyre on 255/35 x 18 F1 Asymmetric 2's even after delivery was taken into account.Still if tyreleader get that close it's impressive.
