audi 2.3 20v or v6 quattro coupe wanted plz

Hi anyone who is reading I currenltly have a 2.3 20v coupe quattro and a 2.6 coupe a little worse for wear I would like a decent one running as I really love the car or I would like a v6 quattro coupe if anyone knows of any for sale please let me know I would be really thankfull thanks for reading

The 20V CQ is the one to go for in my opinion but they are rare as rocking horse crud, more so if you want a decent one.

2.8CQ is the better 6 cyl one to go for I think. Again, not many of them around but they seem to be in better condition in my experience, not sure why.

Good luck with your search. I was looking for one and kinda gave up as just never found one. The last really good one I saw was a Pearl White 20v CQ about 4yrs back in brilliant condition other than a small scuff that need sorting on the rear bumper. It was an absolute steal at £1350 and was the worst purchase I never made. It still haunts me ha ha ha.

Had a 2.8 cq before, paid £400 because a ball joint needed tightening, nice car but completely gutless engines, the 20v is considerably better!

The 2.8V6 was quicker in every way than the 2.3 20V NA.

But don't let that put you off

and I *have* a CQ20V... couldn't afford the later V6 at the time, though the acceleration figures that were important to me at the time (aged 23-24) were all faster than the 20V.

I don;t regret it though, not one bit

It's more about the history of the abt special additions . Bit like the tressers. Look bloody awful but great history
