  • Audi RS6 Avant MTM (C5) For Sale £5,695

For Sale is my Audi RS6 Avant, MTM, 4.2 V8 Bi Turbo, Daytona Grey pearl paint with full black leather heated and electric Recaro seats. 101,000 miles, service history with lots of receipts.

The RS6 has been remapped by MTM to 500 bhp (receipt present) at 99,369 miles.. The work was carried out at QST (Kim Collins) and includes a gearbox remap at the same time. Whilst having the work done the gearbox oil and filter have been changed for piece of mind. At the same visit a brand new N/S intercooler was fitted due to a small air leek when tested, total invoice £1753.09.

Two major flaws of the RS6 (C5) have been addressed; the troublesome DRC suspension has been replaced and the gearbox has been reconditioned ( I have an Audi invoice to prove this).

The timing belt, water pump and associated pulleys have been changed recently at 93,561 miles on 03/02/2014 by a VAG specialist (invoice present).

The RS6 has all the usual refinements plus, Black Suede headlining, full black leather Recaro electric seats, heated front and rear seats, factory tinted B post back windows (not tinting film) Audi Navigation Plus, Sunroof, Bose sound system.

The car is overall in good condition for its age and mileage and comes with 2 Audi keys.

Bad points: Front bumper has a crack in the lower part (see picture), Front bumper colour not an exact match, CD changer requires a magazine sourcing and new batteries are required for the remote keys. There is a I Phone 4 lead fitted in the glove box instead of using the CD changer.

Sadly the car is listed as a category C vehicle, it had been stolen and recovered with localised damage to the front bumper, February 2015. A HPI check also shows its recorded as category D in 2008 (12/04/2008) The low asking price reflects the above.

I have previously owned a standard RS6 (C5) and this RS6 is exceptionally fast in comparison due to the MTM treatment.

Supercar performance at a ridiculous price...
Cat D/C aside, it's never going to be worth less than the asking, likely if anything to go up in value...
Or worth it in parts alone if a vulture decided to break it.

Free motoring.... What's not to like...
        Shall I, shan't I......

Agreed. You see RS6s with broken gearboxes asking more money. With DRC replaced, gearbox reconditioned @ Audi, and recent full cambelt, that's an absolute bargain for someone!

That's a LOT of car for less than 6k - regardless of Cat C or D status. Monster power and monster fuel bill to prove it I am sure.

The most i got out of mine was 407 miles to a tank, with about 10 miles indicated remaining, however the gauge is notoriously unreliable when it get that low so could have been less or could have been more. You takes your chances!! Fairly big tank at 82 litres

This journey was from Glasgow up to Inverness, across to Ullapool then right across country to Aberdeen. Not bad i thought for over 500 horsies under the bonnet. Start, stop round the town, well, hmmm.....not so good. I would average 250 to a tank.

Mapped up the cars are good bang for your buck, especially with some of the troublesome work already sorted.
