  • Anybody seen the 25V Talledega Engine Display at the factory museum or ??

I am looking for a photo of the top of the head (through the clear plastic "Cam cover". Or a link to such a photo.

I am developing two sidebars to my Audi 20VT history post, i.e. VW 16V and its Oettinger/Drake/GRAF precusors and the so-called Talledega 25V engine and want to show the architecture of the 25V head.

Any joy? Or is it "too soon"

Others have found these for me (close but no cigar):

Wrong angle, needs to be taken looking directly down on the head:

Very close but I want one with the cam cover OFF the head:

That would be great Rob. I am hoping to see the three lobes/cylinder and the full length of the cam, i.e. 15 lobes plus the drive chain, if possible.

Somebody has told me that it is just like the 1.8T heads except add a cylinder. I said sure, except I think the 1.8T head is just like the 25V head, except eliminate a cylinder. The 25V head came first.

I know somebody on this forum has this 25v head. Maybe I should ask him to take a pic.
