  • Audi s6 c5 avant

Im soon going to be selling my current car to fund a new business venture and the fact that i have access to a company vehicle so really don't need to keep this car and I only purchased it until the company vehicle became available

    Ming Blue
    Audi s6 4.2 quattro
    340hp
    full service history
cam belt changed 30k miles ago by audi
gearbox changed by audi 22k ago (5k's worth receipts available)
    sports cats and stainless exhaust
    MOT jun 2015
    TAX july 2015
    alcantara roof lining etc
    Genuine rs6 alloys
private plate (included) - prob worth 3-400 ?

Bodywork is good for age but not mint , small dent on tailgate and o/s/r wheel arch (dent removal man thinks he could get both out), slight laquer peel on very front of bonnet and probably some other little imperfections (depends how fussy you are)

Ive driven it all over the place for a little while and its a great drive also recently had four wheel alignment , 2x track control arms I have a couple of other items that i will be fitting over the next week too, needs lambda sensor , rear pads squeak and front discs are poor

I will also change out the oil etc before sold

after i bought it i changed the wheels for the rs6 ones as it had replica wheels on it with the wrong size tyres so after those and the other bits i have sorted on it I'm into the car for around 4k

Looking to sell for £3k in a straight easy sale

    any questions please ask

heres some pics of it dirty ! not the greatest advert pics but it gives an idea!

Huge amount of car for the money. Out of interest, what's the mileage? Are these the same engines as the B6 S4? If so are they also prone to the same rattly chain tensioner problem?

mileage is 121k , different engine to the b6 this one has a belt so no rattly chain noises !

Looks like a bargain to me for someone at face value anyway - somewhere south of £2800 for a V8 engined Avant quattro. I assume it must be very late 90s or very early 00s model year if it has the timing belt version of the V8 motor - thats a 5V head too and none of those potentially pesky chains.

For some tastes, the wood and slush box reduce the desirability a little but that is a helluva lot of car for the price - in decent condition and with history too. GLWS.

Undoubtedly a lot of car for the money. If you've advertised it everywhere with those pics that looks like it's been crashed into a hedge then abandoned then I'd remove them and add nicer ones. I'm sure it'd go no quickly then

LOL sidrick - good point - does look more abandoned up on that kerb as opposed to parked ;-)
