Where do i find the colour code?

I cant find anything on the car with colour or options codes

Car is a 91 CQ20v, dark met blue. I found some codes on 20v.org, only blue that seems to match is "Y5Z Nautic Metallic (Dark Blue)", anybody know if US models were the same colours?

Should be a white sticker if you open the boot and the flap on the floor.... You sort of have to get your head in the boot as such to look

Still cant find it are you talking about the storage area below the boot floor? All i can see is carpet.

My 91 car has it in the boot, at the back wall under the removable plastic container.

Ahh, i know my car has been hit on that corner, new light cluster, bumper, and broken mount for the washer bottle. Guess the sticker is long gone.

The same sticker will be in your service schedule handbook thing. Colour codes are normally 4-digit alphanumeric.

I had great intentions of posting colour codes on S2central but I never got round to it.

AFAIK S2's had different choice of colours.

I had a look around for any old Audi brochures i had and found three brochures for the Audi 90 dated 8/89, 9/89, 2/91. Both 89 brochures list “Nautic Metallic Q2” and the 91 brochure only has “Indigo Pearl Effect C2”. ….only adds to the confusion

I found numerous S2 brochures online but nothing for the CQ20v, does anybody have a copy of one?

I have loads of Audi brochures from 81-94, if anybody wants any scanned just ask…

S2 colour codes can be found here

I think it could be Indigo Pearl Effect C2, this colour was only available on the 1991 cq20v, AFAIK.

Mine says LZ5L and is dark blue metallic, 1996. Anyone knows the name or has similar colour?

Still trying to work this one out I now know for sure its not Pearl Effect Blue (LZ5T) as i have a nice S2 bumper that dosent match the car

Would anybody have a car in Nautic Blue? ...I need a pic of one to see if its the same.

I'm down to two options now,

Y5Z Nautic Metallic (Dark Blue)
Y5U Glacier Metallic (Blue)
