My volcano RS2 Avant
Hi all,
Went to get my LHD volcano black RS2 in the UK 2 weeks ago, and since I've already been helped a lot here with a boost problem (timing belt was put point to point, instead of one left), I find it only fair to introduce myself here ![]() It has run 211000km over 2 amazing owners. The first having been really maniacal about the maintenance. Every single thing needed was done immediatly. The last owner was nothing less actually. Both great enthousiasts, and the big pile of invoices proves it. The RS has just had a full engine rebuild, and pretty much everything on the suspension had been done. Drives absolutely rattle and clunk free... amazing. All wheels redone, new tires, brake discs and pads, aircon fixed, etc... Having driven a few RS2's from friends before, it really feels like a very fresh one, so I hope I can enjoy if for quite a bit longer. The 322mm brakes are great too... real stopping power ![]() Has every option that was availabe, except for the dog-net I think. The cruise control is funny, feeling the acc. pedal getting pulled down! The Volcano black is also such a great colour! A friend had a full black one, and I found that a bit dull... but Volcano has a great bit of green in it, really plays in the sun. Anyway, I'm sure I can learn a lot on this forum! Got a few updates coming up, but I'll post them here ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice!
It has to be the best colour for any S or RS2, I'm not biased at all, it's a ****** to keep clean though... ![]() |

Help wanted to see if I need to change my headlights from RHD to LHD ones... I've got 138 838 00 on my right headlight. Left one is 138 837 00. are the LHD or RHD ones? |
