More exactly - the 040 is not sufficient, AFAIK the 044 flows quite a bit more at high boost.
A 044 in stock tank with a relay, will support 700 flywheel hp and I am pretty sure OP will not really make more than that.

I have not tested the 040 that much personally. Maximum I've run on one was 450hp.

If you are going to run methanol as fuel, then as I understand it you actually need to more than double your fuel delivery as the energy density is much lower.
If you mean that you are running methanol injection - then this is not really relevant at all, as the majority of fuel comes from the injectors, and you will max out the pump on gasoline.

Either way, a fuel pressure gauge would be very much recommended.

As Pri said you have this alittle wrong.

And i agreed with him you need twice as much Methanol than petrol as the stioch is something like 7:1-9:1

methanol needs at least double and if not a nuclear meltdown will occur
040 pump will like PRJ says do 450bhp and thats on normal petrol . if your running methanol for 600 bhp you will need at leat 1600cc injectors. otherwise it will not run. you also have to drain the tank and pipes every time you use the car and start it on petrol till its warm then swap it over.

Fuel tank is fine, your fuel pump is not. The bare minimum for your power target is a 044 with a relay feeding directly from the battery. I have a few 600+ cars running like this and the fuel pressure is solid.

Unrelayed 044 will hit fuel starvation around 500-550bhp depending of course on the condition of the pump electrical lines. This is from my experience.

ah ok but your pump is still too small for 600bhp safe. be very carful between 6500rpm-8000rpm thats where it will run lean in3rd4th5th6th etc

I turning boost very slow and always cheking all thing on logs and driving. If I will see that is going too lean will put one more 044 pump external. Thanks Will for piston rings

Make sure you diagnose the fuel pump correctly and not try to add fuel.
The best way to notice it is the fuel pressure tapering is if you are adding fuel but it does not want to go richer anymore and you start to max the injectors.

Good luck, and make sure to drive with the headphones on... One bad pull with high boost and fuel going lean can mean a melted engine at this power.
