  • Changing spring on 2002 S3

bought a noggy blue S3 last week with a few niggles. Nothing really bad. It needs new rear springs (surprise surprise) and was offered a set of lowering springs for next to nothing... All four of course. Never crossed my mind to ask how much they lower the car, they are red H&R though. Anyone know if there are different heights available from H&R for the S3?

    Cheers, Kris.

I got my rear springs from auto parts warehouse $152 brand name is raybestos. Its just an aftermarket brand. So far so good its actually my first time replacing with aftermarket parts.

Id just fit a pair of standard springs If I were you. In my opinion the suspension is firm enough, bordering on too firm.

Well, i already have these springs now so they are going on. I agree that the ride is a bit harsh, and wont get any better with these. Nobody have an answer to my question?

It seems there are different heights available. Can you see a product code on them?
