Nice find, that is a great colour combo!

S6 wheels will be a nice stealth touch.

Interested to see if you can crack the 400bhp on an RS2 turbo.

Have you considered a billet RS2 turbo? Apparently will do 33psi peak, and 28 to redline with 300-400rpm quicker spool.

Interesting to see one with a cone filter. I thought generally the hot air from the exhaust etc made these a bad idea?

I'd like to fit one as should let more 5 cylinder induction out but no point is it just kills power due to hot air.

            Nice looking motor

It is a bad idea if you ask me. As soon as I get an airbox it is going off.

some time ago, we tested this on a dyno: with the cone filter some 5% LESS power than with the standard airbox (RS2 spec'd S2)

                    Some progress

So in Denmark we have this crazy registration fee system, so in order to get number plates on an S2 Avant/Coupe you have to pay the goverment a registration fee of around 9500 euro.

However there are some loop holes, If I build the avant into a VAN, then I only have to pay a registration fee of 1500-2000 euro. Furthermore then anual road tax will be lowered from 800 euro to 500 euro. But then I can't have any passensger in the rear and I need to remove seats, seatsbelts etc.

Some pictures of the conversion of my S2 Avant in to a S2 Avant VAN:

                    The finish result:

                      RS2 Airbox installed

Also managed to install my RS2 airbox I got from Fish.

Looks much better then that awfull cone filter, and will help on heat soak. Also discovered that the hose to the DV has split and it is missing a bolt on the heatshield at the intake pipe.

It seems my aby has the metal pipe from the 3B instead of the plastic ABY one, is that correct?

I didn't expect to say that for a non-standard conversion to (what according to my opinion is) one of the finest examples of 90's era Audi design and craftsmanship but... I quite fancy that! I like the attention to detail. This is one sexy van! And it seems that every alteration to the car is designed to be reversible too.

That's an ABY pipe, the 3B one doesn't fit with the ABY IM. There are metal and plastic versions, I thought the RS2 had the plastic one but not sure
