Why put a big lump of an S2 engine in a ultralight kitcar?
What is your motivation? I'd prefer a Hayabusa turbo.. same hp's, half the weight...

            @Quattro
Reason for the S2 is multiple,
            (a) I have an NF 2,3 block in now, the S2 is a straight(ish) swap.
            (b) Give me the sound of a 5 cylinder any day over a bike engine
            (c) I drive long distances (Le Mans and back) a bike engine wouldn't survive
            (d) because I can :mischeif:

@s-express, One persons poison is another persons treat

            @ Bram, Zeker, wil doen!

@ Pixs. it sounds great now. Plan is a Forge blow off and some straight through-ish pipes I'm very interested in how it's going to sound.

Been working through the loom yesterday and I came across what I believe is a MAT sensor (See photo). Can anyone tell me where the orifice for this is?

            Thanks

Temp sensor goes just behind the throttle body in the inlet manifold.

I watched one of your vids on youtube with the NF engine and it sounds awesome, almost V8ish!

              Wicked project.

Can't wait to see this progress, i mused with the idea of building one outta my 428hp engine but decided I'd rather probably kill myself rather quickly...

The one in the inlet manifold is held in place with two bolts, that is already there, or did you mean another one?

Could it be an ambiant temp gauge for in the airbox?

Gearbox.... hmm, not got the Quattro box, using the AMK box I have now so I might just have to hide it away.

@Daisfunky: Killing myself hmmm, used commute into london on an R1, stopped dong that, took up skydiving, stopped doing that, built this car.... yep you could be right

Does the tip look like a reed switch?
