  • Sunroof Seal

What's the latest with these? Found a few threads from a year or two back but wondered if anyone had found a good source? It's for a metal roof.

When was this?? I checked a couple of weeks ago and both were NLA

New seal arrived from Germany today, looks really good quality, sunroof is out the car at the moment so I've fitted the seal but not put the cartridge back in the car, I'll do that at the weekend.

            I hope they fit?

A couple of guys on classic audi ordered the ones for the UR Quattro from audi tradition.

They don't fit, they're too big.

prices are crazy, i paid about £35 from vagparts but that was a few years back now...its nothing special so you would have thought there should be a decent value/quality alternative. If the UR one fits, just cut it to fit if too big?

I'm thinking he means too fat so the sunroof won't fit back in it's hole!

Yea it was few months ago I got it. I had no problem getting two. The price I got above is the recent current price.

Make sure your drip tray is in place, under the back edge of the sunroof panel when it’s closed. You should be able to see it when the roof is tilted up. If it’s not there it is probably stuck down the back of the cassette and you can fish it out and clip it back in place.
