  • Ball joints for cast wishbones.

I have a pair of cast wishbones as below, I need ball joints before I can fit them obviously! They're going on my 7A B3 CQ
Have looked through one of the "sticky" posts where I was hoping to get part numbers but to no avail.
Can anyone give me some advice please........
    Cheers.
    John.

Thanks guys, will try and get a hold of TRW joints........and likely some standard Audi bushes as it's poly on them just now although I might just fit them as they are as the subframe will be off for refurbishment later in the year.
Will get new press-fit bolts as well.

        Thanks again.

        John.

Pete Reeve does the Ball joints and definitely stick with with polys

Get TRW ones, they're the OE manufacturer. I just got a pair for about ÂŁ60 total from MisterAuto I think.

I had a pair of B3 ones that came with my arms. Not sure if I threw them out last week...

I always get my suspension components from Lemforder - https://webcat.zf.com/ (change the language to English at the bottom) - and just googled the part number to find a supplier. Eurocarparts can get any ZF/Lemforder product.

Thanks, regardless of if it's Lemforder or TRW will the joint fit the CQ hub carrier?
To reiterate it's a 7A CQ of the B3 variety and not an S2.
                    Thanks.

Yes except the hubs themselves, CQ20v hardware is the same as the 3B

Actually not all ball joints are the same. You want the later spec ones as they offer a bit more castor. Not sure if Lemforder do both but TRW definitely do. Search for a thread I did recently, as there are TRW part numbers in there.
