You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
If i remember correctly, you have to remove the glovebox, and than you will see one torx bolt,
undo the bolt (it's a long one) and than you should be albe to pull the airbagunit out.
Take note that there are 2 plugs in the back of the airbag that need to be unplugged carefully.
if you have cruise control, the ECU will be screwed to the dash behind the glove box - needs unplugging before dash can come out
Also a good point there... should really add that to the guide. If anyone has pics of that and any other photos of how/where the airbags connect that would be good also.
They'd be easy enough with dash in place unless going up from 10cm diameter - but yes its worth a thought.
Next step for me is to try and identify a lot more of the dreaded wiring plugs on the loom under there and associate them with the schematics - oh joy !
