  • I saw this and thought of you ......

Out and about with wifey this morning and I came across these beauty's at a car boot no less !!
And NO he wasn't selling those for car boot prices although a deal can be made cheaply

As I do not own an Audi anymore I thought maybe one of you guys on here might be interested ? Obviously I'm going to put a little drink on there for my time and effort but these will still be cheap !

Can someone tell me a benchmark price that these go for please as I haven't a clue ?
They look in pretty good shape and the seller says they have had a recent refurb (must check with him if he has receipts for this)

    Only pics I've taken :

For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

I googled the 20487300 and came up with this:

Help identifying alleged 928 S4 rear calipers: http://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum...-calipers.html

which has photos such as these:

They seem to be in nice condition, indeed. As far as i can see, they do have new pipe lines, bleed nipples and a newish coat of paint. Propably a new set of seals, as well, but can't be sure without close up pics.

But I think the point is, pretty as they might be and reburbed or not, what will they fit on UrS-wise (S2, UrS4/S6 or RS2)? I think the answer is nothing, at least without a lot of work bracket-wise or special rotors.

              Just my opinion.

Typically a four piston Brembo will had two different size pistons in it (to do with evening out the contact pressure, one is larger, one is smaller.) I think the smaller is the first one contacting the rotor (direction of rotation) and the larger is the second one contacting.

                    I think.

As usual Dave your a mine of information
I could probably get more information from the seller (I think he's a vw nut) but due to the lack of any real response and the fact they're not the usual ones used by you guys I don't think I'll bother to get them.
