RS2 instrument cluster LCD display replacement

My LCD display in the instrument cluster is fading does anyone know if I can source it for replacement?

There is a tbread that has been running for sometime with a forum member trying to source a suitable replacement. It will help probably 80 % percent of s2/rs2 owners whos lcd is the same...

My clock needs doing. And one is gone on the RPM gauge as well. I have a bunch of spare bits and i think theres some LEDs in there, I'll see if so and what they are. Otherwise I'm on the list too.

I just bought two sets of clocks to end up with one good set after having similar problems I reckon this list will get long, and $150 for an LCD is a bit steep don't ya think? but hey if someone wants to pay that much good luck.

Right guys. I have been speaking to a seller on ebay from the uk. He gets lcd screens for the newer Audi clusters made by a company in Europe. There a lot bigger and have more display features. He sells these for only £55! He's going to ask his supplier if he can make a batch for the s2 dash. I'm going to send him mine to use as a pattern. But will need a minimum order of between 15-50. How many people would be interested? Price I would have thought would be between £30-£40
