D2 A8 brake calipers any good?

Hi guys im sure i read somewhere that D2 A8 rear caliper carriers are an upgrade for URQ's and S2 coupe's?

Is this the case?

I think there are 2 types - there is a Brembo version which is definately an upgrade. But it isn't a simple bolt on. You will need caliper carriers

Yes I didn't read properly. Hence the pic also of a front...

Then yes.... D2 S8 rears with caliper carriers will bolt straight on... although I'm not 100% sure on the disc... and not Brembos.

Just happen to spot this on the A8 forum re D2 S8 (facelist) rear brakes:

Rears were 280mm x 22mm with calipers by Lucas. Brembo dont now do the rear discs (used to be 09.7196.10) but they do provide pads - P85 020
