i used to fit a LOT of china Subaru/Evo ones and they all come from the same supplier

never seen a rad fail, buy couple of build quality issues were apparent on every one, i.e small bleed pipe needed "bent" when fitting silicone hoses and 1 in 10 rads cracked once bent when they had been welded poorly

And on first views............... that one doesnt look any cop, welds and metal quality IMO

sticking my neck out here, buy it, try to fit it and if its no good you are entitled to your money back by law.

looking at the pics again, that is pure tat.
    wouldnt waste my cash

how much is a dealer radiator and 80degree thermostat? must be cheaper than that shyte surely?

I've been looking for a radiator and found the following:

      Cheap one

      OEM one

Has anyone used this site befor or have any opinions on the OEM one?

I'd get a Behr from Pete at quattro corner..worth the money going OEM, most rads from factory lasted well over 10 years.

That rad looks proper rubbish. Get a Behr one or custom one, Nissens ones are also cheap rubbish.

Some of the Chinese intercoolers seem good so I wonder if there are or will be any decent rads?

In fact that one isn't even an upgrade, the core size is pretty much the same as OEM

I agree, the Nissens radiators are pathetic, a complete waste of money

How much would I be looking at for a Behr one? I cant seem to find one anywhere although I haven't spoken to quattro corner yet

In fact I have just spoken to Advanced Radiators and apparently their supplier of OEM radiators is Behr and the aftermarket ones are from Nissens

So is £150 a good price for the Behr option?

not sure on exact price but spoke to GDM motorsport at race retro and they make custom rads and can recore your old one....might be an idea to talk to them

I paid £145 including delivery for a Behr unit recently. I used the same company Error has used and they were very helpful and delivered next day. I will dig out the details.
