  • Terrybullwon's Racing S2 coupe

I have started a new thread as a year ago i got bitten by a motor sport bug and want to bring my S2 along to a very competitive standard to use in motor sport, this is a track only car now.

                  Nothing this year.

I will test the car as much as possible learn with it alittle and then see what needs to be done and iron out any problems.

I will also have a few rules to meet this will also mean making a few changes.

But i would like to do some time attack and hill climbing. Also some wheel to wheel if the AAA salon series continues and the entry is not to high.

                      Nice.

It would be perfect for the local race series up here I think:

Scottish Saloon and Sports Car Championship which runs at Knockhill.

Perfect as in there doesn't seem to be that much in the way of rules and regulations. It's televised on Motors TV too.

Looking forward to seeing this finished!

Absolutely mad project James... not seeing any firewall in the cabin from photos though... I expect that will stop it being officially raced anywhere - assume this is in hand.

Look up the RAC-MSA regs on firewalls - from my old memory they define materials, thickness and even suggested layouts for some body shapes. Someone must have solved this before you... with the tank on the floor like that you don't have much option but to construct some kind of box around it - and relocate pumps and such to where they need to be protected.

I know i can do Time Attack with the ATL cover on the tank that i have then i just need to cover the pumps and check what needs to be done about the swirl pot.
