I'll be taking speedo apart to change fuel and temperature gauge, and dial faces (or whatever their called). I'd like to change all the lights in the speedo, but not sure where to get a good ones. I have ordered some off ebay, but they were not great.

Can they still be ordered from Audi?

Ebay ones are ****. Get the Osram units, they are OEM and about £3 each so not cheap.

I just "upgraded" mine to 1.2w (stock are 1.1) and it makes a nice difference. Don't bother with LEDs, they don't spread the light evenly and you have dark & bright spots.

I did notice that OEMs are Osram, but couldn't find them anywhere.

sorry mate but you are totally wrong. they just need to be SMD leds.

I also tried SMDs, 2 sets actually, they still had noticeable lighter & darker areas so they were no good (for me anyway)

                      Any pics with them fitted?

LEDs are dimmable, so should be ok.

Hi, sorry to jump in, but does anyone know how many bulbs are needed? Is 10 enough just for the instrument cluster?

                              Thanks
