  • Need pictures of S2/4/6 with 1.8t/2.5tfsi coilpack looms

    im getting some prices for ready made looms

    i need pictures of engines with various cam covers with 1.8/2.5 coilpack conversion looms fitted please

    Also pictures of the looms NOT fitted to the car if you have any please

    I have a loom sitting here not fitted to a car but have not got time tonight to take pictures unfortunately.

              You should have a bar over the coils to hold them, without been a few failures of them popping out.

                Not needed on stock AAN, ABY or ADU cam covers. The coil packs snap onto the sparkplugs very tightly, at least in my experience with 1.8t coilpacks that were trimmed properly to allow them to sit down in the "well".

                  They're not easy to pull of if they're located fully over the spark plug
                  '93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.

                      Been running without any hold downs since I did the first conversion in August 2005. I'm good, thanks.

                            They do take a hellish grip I wouldn't think they'd come off if they're fully clicked in place................and I don't wish to offend but apart from anything I don't think that it looks that great.....

                              i did the same¡¡¡

                              because i have a 3B cam cover and i had 3 coils failure

                              i am using the same coils in a ABY engine with of course ABY cam cover and for the moment they works better
