has anyone experience with all torsendiff in the powertrain?
so i mean a standard middle torsen in a 01e box,one in the front axle and one in the rear axle.
I wonder how the car would react on the runway or circuit
now i'm building a v8 torsendiff in the rear axle

You can machine the gearbox to take the larger torsen bearing, or you can machine the diff to take the stock gearbox bearing.

You machine the diff from 45mm to 41mm IIRC, to take the smaller bearing.

No idea, there are two different types of v8 torsens, there are single piece and multi piece ones, single piece ones are stronger.

                    This thread has some info

Ill be using the porsche diff for the front. I just hope the torsen combo front and rear works well on track, is nice and smooth on the road and for fun days on the road

Are you using a 944 one? Or one of Albert's?

Also sorry to hijack the thread but the V8 diff seal is a hard to get hold of part, 034 stock a replacement and shipped to the uk on priority mail is £69....just checked a uk distributor and its £95 plus postage. Unbelieveable prices, anyone know of a reputable supplier in the UK?

                            Thanks

Just go to your local bearing specialist, they will likely have something suitable on the shelf, do you know the specs?
