Depends how old and how they care it in the past...

Excellent gear ratios for stock turbo cars
What did you prefer with 400bhp, stock 3b or 7a gearbox?
I am tempted to stick a cq or 90q box in when I change the clutch. 3rd is awesome in one way when driving on the road, but with a larger turbo and higher power band closer shorter ratios might be better to keep it in the sweet spot? And more in gear acceleration?
Actualy the same gearbox is put under first production of s2's all so. Marked 01e not arv.
But jes i have the same dilemma, will it hold AAN power with little modifications maybe 1.5 overboost.

Late ABY S2-s had the 6 speed 01E, 3B 5 speed should be 016 (or was it 01A?) type gearbox. All 01E boxes have the reverse next to first gear, if it's in place of the 6th gear it's not 01E.
016 was 200 3b gearbox. 90 couple of s2's and 91 some time actualy had 01A gearboxes.
