So I had collected the car a week later than planned and now another two weeks on I found 5 minutes to rinse the car and take a few quick pics. Been and still am really busy with our house

So this is the 6th 90 quattro I bought of two which I still own and as always it needs some work. Though it is pretty tidy car this so most of the work is mechanical. I was planning on taking some trips down nice roads somewhere this summer but I doubt it will happen as the next job on the house is working on the garage, not in it...

    What it needs:
    - new clutch (previous owner thought it was supposed to be this hard to operate, damn I can hardly get it into gear!)
    - new support bearing for the propshaft and some gearbox mounts
    - new tappets
    - new valve stem seals
    - new suspension (it is like a boat and I'm no sailor man) of course I will fit new lowering springs and shocks
    - fit some 15" Ronal wheels

That should make it at least driveable again and make it look a bit better.
Will update this thread when I have found time to work on it.

Yes it is quite good body wise, or very good for a 30 year old car actually.

I should be able to enjoy it once the mechanical issues are sorted.

Lovely looking machine. Such a shame the delinquents ruined the ones we had here,as has been confessed by one to me a while back. Quick question.Do B3 and B4 seats fit B2's? I suspect not. What recaros fit the B2?

I'd quite like to "widebody" one of these.

Ha HA Your too old to be a deliquent.

Actually i would too if funds were available. The deliquents i refered to were the spotted oiks that just ragged them when they were just a few hundred pounds. The guy who bought some stuff off me now wishes he hadn't.

Edit i see you added that super cool picture.Awesome machine!

MK2 Jetta GLI Recaros are a nice upgrade. They require a bit of "massaging" to fit into the stock seat rails though.

Was planning to go to a meet with it this summer, will there be an event @ Assen again? If yes then hopefully not before august as I doubt it will be fixed and driving fine before then.

Seat bases from B2 should fit B3/B4 seats without too much trouble. I like the B2 seats though they are much more comfortable compared to B3/B4 seats.

Me 2, but I love them in stock form as well. Also it would be a shame to do it to this one and to be honest it would be beyond my capabilities for sure.
