  • Polar Silver RS2 For Sale

I am selling my RS2 in Polar Silver.

UK RHD car, 1 of only 180 right hand drive models to be made, black leather and grey alcantera interior.

I am pretty sure this is a standard car IE: not chipped.

New cambelt fitted by Peter @ White Cottage Quattros 2600 miles ago.

Just had new front Textar pads fitted,4 new Michelin Pilot Sport Tyres fitted.

The car comes with some service history a,nd MOT's dating back to 2005, just put 12 months MOT on the car with no advisories.

Quiet a lot of people have shown interest in the car but no takers as off yet.

Genuine reason for sale, I have always wanted a Nogaro Blue RS2 and could never find one so I purchased this SIlver RS2, 10 months later I have found and bought the Nagaro Blue RS2 I always wanted.

Genuine car I have full HPI report from when I bought.

The silver RS2 has a few little scratches here and there but nothing major and a little bit of rust coming through on tailgate, I have attached pictures taken yesterday and today.

PM me if interested, there are still a couple of members interested but the car is still for sale.

    £12750.00

GLWTS mate, post us a photo of both cars if you can. Imagine, you own 1/90 of the total cars!

I never thought of it like that 1/90th Big Bang Theory Mathematics

I hope she sells this time but you never know.

Here are a couple of pictures, I only have a couple of pictures of both cars together, the silver RS2 is in a far better condition, the blue RS2 is being completely stripped of its running gear overhauled and then built back up.

I got told that the Nogaro Blue RS2 might be for sale it was tucked away on a driveway on the Isle of Bute its not been run for 4 years I'm told the interior is like new, but I cant say the same for the exterior .

If you know anyone who wants a Silver RS2 you know where to send them

      Cheers

Hi Johnboy, would you take a 1995 S6 2.2 turbo avant in casablanca white, 122k miles in part ex for your RS2?
I've had the S6 2 years and bought it from AM cars quattro specialists, there's 8 or 9 stamps in the service book, Audi and specialist.
While I've owned the car its had a new radiator from Audi and last year timing belt, water pump, I have all the receipts.
I will post some pics, as you can see she is in excellent condition.
New mot last week with no advisories. I also had AM cars fit mtm chip when I bought the car £700 about 270bhp.
Interior has carbon finish with black cloth seats, in good condition.

Great picture of your garage with two rs2's inside of it. Also what motor is in your Q7 that you used to tow the rs2?
I always wondered how good of a tow vehicle the Q7 would be. Everyone here in the states tows stuff with a pick-up truck.

Yes it is a good picture of the 2 RS2 together, the Q7 has the 4.2 TDI engine in, and it goes and pulls like a train, I did the return journey and I couldn't really tell that I had the RS2 and trailer on the back.

You are absolutely right, like I said earlier it pull like a train, and surprises quiet a few people from the lights

I've only had it since last September but I am really happy with it, could be slightly better on fuel but that might be down to me having a heavy right foot

                          Whats the mileage?
That's the first rhd that Ive ever come across with the early steering wheel

I can't believe I didn't put the mileage in the ad the mileage on the car is 144600.

Long storey about the steering wheel, when I bought the car the previous owner had fitted a flat bottom steering wheel and the airbag light was on all the time, he told me it just needed a squib to resolve the problem, so 3/4 squibs later and still the airbag light was on couldn't get the car through its MOT.
So I decided to get a steering wheel on the car to keep it as original as possible, I couldn't find the one with the small black rings on so I bought this one, airbag light went out straight away MOT passed, play time.

Not everything oem can be / should be upgraded.

All prospective RS2 owners and current owners, please take note.

Going forward all potential RS2 owners should be vetted to ensure that are suitably 'qualified' to act as guardian / custodian of an appreciating classic, which is only going to appreciate further.

Buy one now if you want one, before they go the way of the Porsche 964 - up.

( having the money is obviously not the only criteria as per above ),

UrS6 + spec cars are an even bigger secret, imho.
