Do you guys have any strange desires about some car related things, like strange or funny looking parts, teddybear wheels, rear window grills, special shape exhaust tips etc..?
My latest is a funny feel that I wan't these kind of brake cooling wheel fans. In some way they just look soo sexy.

Are those vents sucking air out or in? Commonly the disks have cooling intake on the outside, so i guess they would benefit from air beeing pushed in (E34 M5 had wheel covers like that?).
But auto related strange desires, im not even sure where to begin As it has shown over the years most repeating problem has been the seats, i just love driving on good set of Recaros and pretty much hate any common "comfort" seat that just gives me a terrible back ache.
What I have study the subject, they suck air from the wheelhouse and from the underside of the car and push it out from the outside. Thats why the finns are stright. On really fast track racers(like my UrS ) they tend to add ground effect(downforce) by sucking the air from the underside of the car.
If the finns would be bended forward they would probably be more effective in brake cooling, but then they would add more pressure under the car. Some have tested these kind of fans, but they had trouble with the engine cooling, because the fans pushed so much air in the wheelhouse and engine bay that the airflow to the radiator didn't work properly anymore.
Haha Zoig, well, the seats are inportant espeacilly if you have to drive long distances. I have the best Countor seats in my 740ia but they just don't fir my but. Every time I drive for and hour or longer my right leg starts to hurt. Didn't have the same problem with my old 530da with basic seats.
