  • URS4 Avant RS2+ Lots of New and Uprated parts!

    well, not what I imagined in November when I bought her but, I will advertise the S4 for 1 month only, if she sells....... ok if not she can stay in the garage until july.

    Now,

    I will sell the car with 3 different prices depending on how you want to buy the car and level of spec and spares package..........

    First a description of the car:

    Emerald green Manual UR S4 Avant 139,000 miles with service history.


    Work I have just carried out over the last couple of months:
    2 x Engine flushes ran through and oil is golden brown,
    oil and filter change 1000 miles ago with 10w60 Fuchs,
    5x PFR7b plugs,
    K and N panel filter just cleaned and refitted,
    New fuel filter,
    New Camshaft sensor,
    New RPM sensor,
    New reference sensor,
    New o2 sensor,
    NEW Idle Valve,
    Walbro fuel pump,
    Fuel pump has been re-wired and ran from a new relay under the rear seat and separate fuse feed and wiring throughout,
    New Bosch wiper blades all round (3),
    Wheel alignment set up to S6 specs on Hunter machine,

    Now a spec list of the car as it stands:

    Engine:
    375-390bhp advised by PRJ which I think are very conservative considering it is producing 27psi and revs to 8000rpm.... the Torque is absolutely phenominal and relentless from 3500rpm right through to rev limiter.
    AAN engine running Ausi RS2 Turbo charger,
    Wagner exhaust manifold,
    Bosch 440cc injectors,
    PRJ Stage 3 Rev 3 ECU software with 5000rpm Launch control,
    Audi R8 Coils and New wiring harness,
    Hand made V banded exhaust system, heat wrapped and twin tailpipes 3.5 inch up front I think!
    Cambelt and waterpump done recently with paperwork to prove,
    NEW Febi engine Mounts,


    Transmission:
    NEW Febi gearbox mounts,
    clutch and flywheel are standard,
    no slippage or poor selection problems,
    nice and tight and possibly have upgraded shifter but not 100% on this!
    First gear does have a whine.
    (upgrade gearbox and clutch as spares if required)

    Brakes:
    Well, everything is NEW!

    Front discs and pads, NEW
    Front Flexis, NEW
    Front calipers, stripped cleaned and seals replaced with NEW

    Rear discs and pads, NEW
    Rear flexis NEW
    Rear calipers NEW

    Various renewed brake pipes,

    Suspension:
    Stud and nut conversion carried out to front and rear axles!
    Bilstein rear shocks NEW
    Bilstein front inserts NEW (knock from NSF, I think it needs removed and filled with oil, will do this possibly Friday before car goes into storage for piece of mind!)
    Front subframe bushes replaced with Thuppu Aluminium replacements,
    Front Anti roll bar mounting brackets replaced with massive chunky Ally ones from Thuppu,
    Front lower arms replaced with NEW items and NEW bushings,
    NEW track rod ends,
    NEW Top mounts,
    Wheel alignment carried out to S6 specs (All I have available on our Hunter Equipment)
    Rear suspension standard except New adjuster arm,
    Rear bushes squeak I think,


    Wheels and tyres:
    5x Standard wheels,
    4x NEW Kumho tyres,

    Interior:
    Subtle white faced boost gauge on dash air vent near A pillar,
    Original carbon fibre trim throughout,
    Leather seats fitted,
    Jacquard door panels,
    Headlining has sagged in places but not so noticeable,
    NEW kenwood head unit, sounds very good!
    Everything works as it should,
    Every knob, button, switch and motor is perfect,
    Very slight flake from dash cluster on 1 or 2 of gauge faces, just being honest.

    Body:
    RS2 style ( ? ) front grille
    New S4 badges front and rear I think,
    TOWBAR for that sleeper look lol!
    Emerald Green paintwork looks lovely when washed and polished up,
    No major damage to any of the panels,
    some small dings on a couple of panels from car parks I guess,
    some scratches on some panels, nothing major and I guess I am just being a fanny and being over honest!
    rear bumper on the top has scratches from loading stuff by looks of it,
    As usual, front wings are the worst bit, n/s/f is worst but there are NO holes. (3 spare wings here)
    I can see a bit of bubbling on one or 2 door strips, again being over honest,
    n/s/r jacking point has been mis shaped but no corrosion,

    I think that is it!

    The car drives amazing,
    very very very quick from 3rd gear and sounds absolutely georgous and when hot quick gearchanges on boost are rewarded with very loud cracks as flames are spat out,
    You really need to be aware of boosting hard are you will be above 140mph before you know it with a couple of gears still left........

    pulls very well from low down when driving normally, and it is currently doing 28.6MPG which seems good to me!

    Issues I will state:
    whine from 1st gear,
    Rear washer pump innop (supply and ground present)
    smell of fumes in cabin at 50+mph and more with window/sunroof open,
    n/s/r door doesn't open from inside now I think about it,
    Rusty lower wings,
    I don't want to sell her,

    Spares to go with car:
    Original turbo charger £100
    Original exhaust manifold £50
    Southbend Clutch in as new condition, (550bhp or nm? Unsprung thing, see pics) £300
    Allroad 2.5TDi gearbox converted to correct diff ratio, £300
    NEW Clutch slave cylinder,£50
    New release bearing, £5
    Wiper linkage, £10
    3x URS4/6 wings, £100
    FULL Reinz engine gasket kit with extra Exhaust manifold gasket, £150
    Sensors I removed from engine after purchase, cam and crank sensors, another NEW idle valve) £20
    5l 10w60 oil £20
    5l 5w30 oil £20

    £1125 total if I am being very cheap with the pricing! Lets say £1000 for arguments sakes alright, just as I'm nice!




    Prices:
    1) Car as is with ALL spares and everything I have for her £5500

    2) Car WITHOUT spares £4750

    3) Car WITHOUT spares and WITHOUT RS2 Turbo, Wagner manifold, COMPLETE Exhaust system, RS2 injectors, ECU (complete), Coils and wiring harness upgrade, £3750

    As you can imagine, I am losing money however way the car will be sold, so not doing this for profit!

    Now obviously open to SLIGHT negotiation on pricing, which I think is VERY reasonable to begin with,

    I would rather sell everything complete as it is easier but I m fine with it either way as the car is just going to sit for several months un used which is a crying shame and the ONLY reason I am selling up,
    Again, if there is no sale I will be just as happy and most likely upgrade further later in the year.

                      With rebuilt suspension, brakes, and handmade exhaust, coil and loom conversion, New engine sensors, fuel lines, fuel pump and relay setup??

                      Do a bit of research before ******* on my bonfire ok.

                        The clutch kit was on a V8 coupe when he owned the car so how was it sold when sifts owned it???
