Odd one, my Speedo works just fine but I noticed that my trip meter hadn't moved since the weekend and a drive today confirmed that the odometer is static also. Is there a drive that's broken or other?

The mechanical odometers are based on electrically driven gears. One of the gears breaks, the odometer stops, just like the old mechanical speedo/odometers.
I am quite sure I have seen a thread with photos on this forum about changing the drive gears in a mechanical odometer.RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan

There is a little white plastic gear that can break.
I think I have read that pressing the odo reset at just the wrong time when moving can break it. Also I am sure I broke one when I took the clocks apart to change the faces.Current-2004 Impreza PPP wagon
