Audi S3 Apy Engine Question

Hi all, been onto Audi Stealers today requesting a set of conrod bolts and nuts and guess what they said?? Your APY Engine doesn't have Studs and nuts?? it has studs only?? and after searching and searching Ebay, Google etc I am now wondering if my engine bottom end is actually and APY at all?? My engine has two studs and lock nuts?? but when looking at AMK or BAM engines, some of them seem to have studs and nuts?? The dealers are saying mine shouldn't have these fitted??
Has anybody got any ideas here please???
