  • Forged wishbone ball joint bolts

Are these replaceable? I can't see a part number for them anywhere. The bolts that appear to be part of the wishbone and hold the ball joint to the wishbone.

Good tip! Mine definitely have the gnarled surface where they contact with the arm It's the bolts through the wishbone rather than the BJ's themselves that I'm on the hunt for now

On the forged arm they should be captive, part of the wishbone. They are not available as separate parts.
If they're missing, just use a 10.9 bolt through

My mate reckons the original bolts that Audi supplied back in early nineties for the bolts that go through the wishbone (bush part) are stronger and better quality than what they supply today.he quoted me some metal numbers for hardness or whatever. Happy to be corrected though.

Doesn't the lock plate for a forged control arm come supplied with the ball joint like the pressed arms?

                edit: Ignore me.

But saltinot's thread definitely shows that something can be done. http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showpos...&postcount=150

You're right, can see the bolts in this pic. Looks like the FA is wrong on this one

Where did you find that? I couldn't see it anywhere in the FA!

Its listed as a supplementary part against the bush for some reason
