  • ABY Driveshaft Options

My passenger side driveshaft has around 2 inches of play on the inner cv joint and has started knocking on full lock turn.

The outer cv boot is also ripped.

Wheres the best place to get the cv joints from?

Or am I better off buying a whole new drive shaft?

    What are the options?

    Thanks

Buy a Lemforder inner joint from a decent motor factors ? It should come with a boot as part of the 'kit'.

Job done, then you've just got to fit it ?

Euro car parts list a q drive one.

Any one fitted one of them before?

Are they any good long term?

Some of Euro Car Parts brands are sold on price as the main criteria, therefore quality comes second.

Hence the suggestion for looking a Lemforder level quality.

Depends whether the car is a keeper or one is looking to sell it on.

          Yeh I am keeping it.

Found skf brand on mister auto, heard good things about skf.

Rather skf than ecp q drive

Lemforder is OE quality, some SKF stuff is good, Qdrive from ECP don;t even think about it.

I got SKF joints from Germany for good money.

                I think SKF is Spidan.
Bought Spidan always and never had any issues with that.
