  • UrS6 - Dash Centre Vent Gauge Holder ?

Does anyone have a link to a replacement centre dash air vent that has been made to house a small VDO style gauge for an UrS6 ?

See the second photo in this thread for an example.

    Thanks.

Not center but in a better location re: line of sight and not taking your eyes so far off the road:

Here is one alterative (there are others out there that read in Bar, i.e. up to 2 Bar)

Centre vent pods are definitely available for the B5, will they work?

In my RS4 I did the same as above on the A pillar, much easier to see.

It is very easy to pop the center vent out, disassemble the pieces and cut a hole in the vents using a dremel. Shouldn't take more than 30 min. Grab a couple of spare ones from an auto wrecker for practice.

Will try the ghetto version, but keener on a "real" one tbh.

As I wanted to fit three gauges, oil pressure, boost, and AFR.

The pillar option is a bit too ricer for me.

I am very anti-"rice" and with the Autometer A4 gauge pod painted the same colour as the A-pillar cover as I have done, I don't think for a minute that it is "rice".

Anywhere else is too low and/or too far away from the line of sight to be useful AND safe.

              In my humble opinion.
