  • [Introduction] Boumbo02

    Hi everybody,

I registered on the forum because I'm looking for any info on the RS2.
I do my pre-midlife crisis and, on this occasion, I hope to acquire this supercar before becoming too old for this toy.
To date I have not fulfilled yet my dream but I am determined to and I'm getting ready for.

    Otherwise I drive every day a Polo 1.6TDI 90hp 6R DSG7 2009 and I ride sometimes a Yamaha TRX 850 1998.
For experts, I am also working on the restoration of a Yamaha RD 400 1976.

      That qualifies you.

All you need is deep pockets for LHD RS2 ownership.

      Welcome.

After having seen a nogaro blue near Barcelona in may 2019, then a volcano black near Manchester in november 2019, I finally found mine, nogaro blue with alcantara blue seats, near Stockholm in december 2019. It took quite 4 months to deal for the importation in France and then 2 months to bring it home.

Bien joué monsieur, perhaps you've some 'as found' photos? Consider that if it had been easier to that point, the opportunity might have already been taken.

I hear you on the 'becoming too old', your RD photos took me back years to a mis-spent youth when all I really read was Gordon Jennings and Kevin Cameron. My 1st bike was an even earlier Yamaha 350 (I was too young for even a license), twin leading shoe, simple pre-reeds piston-port, with clubman bars exactly like this:

Here is the beast just received in june.
Since then it has only run 3 times for a total of roughly 40 km because I am stuck with air conditionning and lots of side problems...
