Not had it apart yet as i am waiting for new joints to rebuild them, will post tear down pics if there is anything interesting to see. Surprisingly it doesn't make much noise when moving, its only on under heavy load driving off where it makes a clink clunk clunk noise. I thought i had ******ed the rear diff when it started. It also makes a very loud dunka dunka dunka noise while pulling high g's around roundabouts, but i've stopped doing that for now

The CV boot had water inside it which made for an interesting aroma. Totally F'd!

Have a feeling one of my prop cvs is going to move something like that when i get it off the car...on the plus side, yours will be tight and silent once replaced!

I did both my prop cv's a few months back as they had started to rattle, but nowhere near as bad as this one. It did make a noticeable difference to drive line shunt coming on/off the power, its much nicer to drive now. I have another six new CV's to fit as there is also a noisy one on the front left, figured i might as well do them all in one go and be done with it.
