    Hello

    Let me introduce my car. I have bought my car 9 years ago, during this time a lot has happened(engine swaps and failures). For example I used eaton(m45-m90) superchargers to 3 years, but this is an other story..

    Let's get to the point, my project car is an 1986 Audi Coupe Quattro with 10valver turbo swap(mc1).

      Let's see the engine.

      v1:

      -I bought an MC1 and rebuild it with OEM parts.
      -I switched to EFI (Megasquirt v2.2).
      -stock 10v head ported, polished with stock valves(non sodium filled)
      -k26/k24 hybrid turbo (later switch to k24-7000)
      -custom exhaust manifold(handmade by friend)
      -double small FMIC(don't need to cut chassis)
      -premium petrol




















      First tries GTECH shows 229 HP on 1 bar boost.
      Some twaks and bigger boost it can put down 247 HP.

        Next steps...

        v2:

        -switch to e85
        -bosch 044 fuel pump
        -siemens dekas 630/720ccm injectors
        -KKK k24#7000 maxed out at 1.4bar
        -straight pipe 60mm diameter



        At this HP level came hugh problems with stock clutch

              Ok, that was the past, current setup:

              v3:

              -sachs RS2 clutch kit hardened up to 800nm
              -stainless steel 70mm exhaust with 1 muffler
              -holset hx35w with KKK housing from Mercedes Atego

                Nice looking car you have there. I saw it on youtube some time ago when it had a compressor. Here is my old setup 10vt with catcams and precision 5858

                    Reallt nice looking coupe.

                    What about the superchargers, was it twincharged or only supercharged?

                      i think you need a smaller exhaust housing for your turbo,very laggy if you see on the dyno grafic

                          Yeah, that was the supercharger project. Nice powerband, but low horsepower at the top(max 207hp). I sold the full kit at good price.

                              Yes, it's totally dead at low rpms, but I have huge problems with EGT. It can reach 950 celsius long period WOT(maybe too small diameter?). My manifold cracked too. Any advice?

                              I think this type of turbos are laggy(it from a bus, big axle etc) and I have a stock camshaft.
